Colnbrook Amateur Stage Theatre

Whether you are new to the world of theatre, or have years of experience, either on stage or behind the scenes, you will be welcomed at CAST. Why not pop along to Colnbrook Village Hall on a Monday or Thursday evening from 8pm to 11pm and meet the team?

With only 4 weeks to go until opening night, please get your ticket orders to the Box Office as soon as you can. The performances on Fri 31st July & Sat 1st August are already SOLD OUT, and the interest shown in this production suggests the other nights will soon follow suit. Make sure you do not miss this Euro extravaganza!

We have had a large number of recent hires from schools and a number of our costumes and props were also used for Karen Clarke's production of Peter Pan in Woking. We will also be costuming a number of pirates for Thames HospiceCare's summer fundraiser in July 2009

The 2008 AGM saw the Chairman's Cup awarded to Rob Ingham for his work with CAST Academy a hugely successful production of Back to the 80s. Kim Kettle and Keith Hughes share the Ken Howard Trophy (awarded by the membership to the person that brings fun & friendship to the group), and Ryan Thompson becomes the 4th recipient of the CAST Academy Cup.

Following the 2008 AGM, CAST now have their first all-female team of officers. Congratulations to Chris, Becky, Laura and the rest of the committee, and we all wish them well as they look to lead the group through the 2008/9 season.

We are thrilled to announce that at the 2008 NODA London AGM, CAST Academy were nominated for and won the brand new "Flame Award" for "Inspirational Contribution to the pursuit of Excellence in Theatre". Tim, Ruth, Rob & Kim along with five of the CAST Academy members were at the AGM and were presented with the award. Well done to everyone within the cast and crew of Honk! !!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday 26th April saw the return of the Parkyn/Cole trophy challenge. Doors opened at 6:30pm with the first question at 7:00pm and a Hot Dog supper was served to everyone in the interval. The winners were ......... The Flowery Baps. Well done to Steve, Gemma, Simon, Alison, Rob and Angela and to Laura and Chris for their organisation.
