We thank the following for their major financial support of CAST.
A big thank you to the management at Grundon for sponsoring the publicity material for our 2006 panto Dick Whittington and our recent production of Mort. As official sponsor, Grundons name appeared on all flyers, posters and the high quality show programmes. For more information visit: www.grundon.com
A big thank you to BAA's T5 Charity for sponsoring the costumes for our 2004 pantomime 'Snow White' to the tune of £1,400 as well as our 2005 production of Treasure Island and 2006's Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. The T5 charity raise funds for many worthwhile local causes, and it is a relationship which we hope to be able to build on in the future. link to T5 Charity website

Running a Theatre Group is a costly business. We hold back enough funds from the previous show, to avoid 'going into the red!' and invest in new equipment when necessary.
However, CAST are aware that without the local community, we would not have an audience.
Each year, CAST members are invited to nominate both charities and other local organisations to raise funds for. The majority of the nominations received are for charities which have personal significance to group members.
The committee then have the difficult task of deciding on three nominations to support for the year. The charities concerned are then contacted and we ask them to provide us with material for advertising at our shows to provide awareness of what they do.
On every show night we hold raffles and we rely very heavily on the generosity of local businesses and leisure facilities to supply us with merchandise, tickets or cash donations to enable us to stock the raffle stand.
If you are a local company whom we have written to and you have sent us donations - THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
If we have not contacted you and you would be interested either in donating items or providing corporate sponsorship to the group please contact us - we'd love to hear from you.
On the following sheets you will find information about the charities we have supported in the past and the amounts raised.
